Student Helpdesk.

In these unsettling times of isolation and uncertainty, let us remind ourselves that we are not entirely alone and left to our own individual devices. The Faculty of Divinity is still up and running, even if at the moment it is only virtually real!

Across the various administrative, research, and teaching levels that constitute the Faculty, individuals have been working hard to keep up with the rapidly changing scenarios and to provide adequate support to you, by keeping in mind the distinctive challenges that you may be coping with at your home in the UK and across the world. Undergraduate students are having to adjust rapidly to online mechanisms of lectures, supervisions, and assessments; MPhil students might be struggling to write their dissertations in places far away from their favourite alcoves in the Faculty of Divinity library; and PhD students could be concerned that they cannot check that particular footnote in a medieval scroll tucked away in the innermost recesses of the University Library.

While we patiently look forward to receiving some glimmerings of light, hope, and meaning from the end of this dark and seemingly never-ending tunnel, we encourage you to keep in touch with your DoSes and College Tutors who will be able to give you concrete guidance in the light of your particular circumstances, and also to check the Moodle pages where new material is constantly being uploaded by our librarians who have been working round the clock.
